CANADND

Can they overcome the trials and tribulations that await them in the mists that shift and shimmer revealing moments from the past, present and future.

A gentle rain falls as clouds billow in the pale moon, which is obscured by mists that seem never ending. Lightning flashes in the sky, highlighting a distant village that soon returns to frightful darkness. Above this darkness, the mists begin to part, allowing the moonlight to outline the towering masterpiece of darkened brick and blackened metal known as castle Ravenloft. It sits atop an impossible cliffside, menacingly standing watch over the small village below. As the mists quickly obscure the pale moon once again, a figure bathed in shadow moves towards the edge of a tower's balcony. Glowing red eyes peer out into the distance as a smirk rests upon his face. Another flash of light reveals lips tainted with ruby and bloodstains that drip along his mouth and jaw. Lord Strahd von Zarovich runs his finger upon the rim of his golden goblet, evidently plotting and planning against whatever unknown foe dare question his law or his rule. Lightning flashes in the sky blanketing the castle in white light> but< for a moment. The balcony shows no sign of the devil that stood there moments ago. As the rain begins to subside, the creatures of the night sing their haunting song.
